Cherry Blossom Downunder!

Yep you heard it right, a first for me personally, but there appears to be cherry blossom in the Auburn Botanic Gardens for a couple of years. Surprised when I found out, Auburn to me is pretty much massive retail stores, factories and local residents, I didn't even know there was a botanic gardens. The cherry blossom only run for two weeks annually, then I guess the flowers would slowly die off after that, it is around the same time each year so look out for it if your in the area at the time. There is an admission fee for non-local residents of $4. Not a terribly bad price for what its worth, decent sized park of 9.2 hectares, ponds with ducks, geeses and kois. There are many different species of flowers and plants within the garden, there are an abundance of nice grass patches throughout the gardens, perfect for a family picnic, remember to bring a mat, food, booze and some entertainment. Enough of my chatter, on with the photos.
